Issues

Looking to film this weekend, the 13th, there are a couple of issues we have to overcome;

- After doing test footage, we are worried the room which will act as the chamber is too cluttered with irrelevant things, posters and furniture. Miss en scene is very important and so everything in shot must be carefully considered. The extent of heavy unmovable furniture makes it impossible to strip the room so we must find a solution or find another location.

- With other costume and props coming together, the only things left to think about is the freemason symbol intended to go on the wall and the freemason G intended to go on the door. We currently have neither of these.

Solutions;

- One idea is to film in an even lower light, making the background furnishings of the room barely distinguishable. We were intending to film in low light anyway for the desired mysterious effect so this would not be a creative issue. We intended to film at night with curtains closed anyway so it is also not a practical issue.

- For the symbol, we have reduced the idea to a poster or picture in a frame on the wall which can easily be printed. For the G on the door, we have organised for it to be lazer cut out of MDF and then we will hopefully spray paint it Gold.
